Our British Berkefeld 1.58 - 2.25 - 3.17 Gallon US Gravity System is a compact and portable Gravity Water Filter System, complete with two ceramic Ultra Sterasyl filter candles for the reduction of common contaminants and chlorine. Check individual product data sheets for specifications.
This gravity filter system is your ideal solution to clean filtered drinking water on the go, away from home. The ATC Super Sterasyl has been renamed as the Ultra Sterasyl.
The British Berkefeld Gravity filter system can house 2 or 4 ceramic filter candles. Made from stainless steel, this gravity-fed system consists of two containers that are super simple to operate, and no plumbing is required. The upper chamber is filled with untreated water, which filters down into the lower chamber using the force of gravity, through a number of ceramic water filters.
Our replacement ceramic filter for use within ALL Gravity Filter Systems is the Ultra Sterasyl. It is a BioTect Protected ceramic microfilter with granular activated carbon and heavy metals removal media.
Our complete range of gravity water filters are the ideal solution for providing filtered water while traveling in locations with an unreliable supply of drinking water or where there is no reliable pressurized water supply. Your British Berkefeld's water filter systems will work without power and cost nothing in electricity to run. The recommended replacement interval for the filters is every six months or after 400 gallons (US) of use. You can buy replacement filter elements in our filter elements section.
